BLOCK/08 Fill every light just right ▶ Play now

Privacy Policy

The short version: BLOCK/08 has no accounts and no ads. To improve the level difficulty curve, the game sends anonymous, aggregate statistics about how puzzles are played; these carry no persistent identifier and you can turn them off at any time. Your saved progress stays in your own browser and is not turned into a player profile. Like any website, the hosting service still receives the requests needed to deliver the page and its files.

Effective date: 23 July 2026

What the game sends

The game has no sign-up forms, advertising scripts or social-media embeds. To help us tune the difficulty curve, it sends anonymous, aggregate gameplay statistics to BLOCK/08 over the same website address that served the game — never to a third party. Those statistics are described in the next section, and you can turn them off. Your browser also requests the static HTML, styles, scripts, images and manifest needed to load the site. Sharing a result only uses your browser's share or clipboard feature after you choose Share.

Anonymous gameplay statistics

So we can see which levels are too hard or too easy and improve the difficulty curve, the game reports a small, anonymous record when you play. Each record can include:

These records are aggregated for statistics only. They carry no persistent identifier, are not linked across visits or across sites, and are never used to build a player profile or to track you. They are sent to the same website address that hosts the game, not to any third party, and are kept for about three months before they age out.

Taking part is optional. Open the level menu and use the Anonymous stats switch to turn reporting off; once it is off, the game sends nothing further. Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage.

What is stored on your device

To remember your game between visits, BLOCK/08 uses your browser's local storage. This data is written and read by the game in your browser, on your device. The current game does not upload these values. The stored values include:

You can erase all of this at any time by clearing site data for this website in your browser settings. Note that doing so resets your progress, since no copy exists anywhere else.

Cookies

The BLOCK/08 game code does not create or read cookies. Depending on the protection settings active for the hosted site, Cloudflare may use necessary cookies or similar technology to deliver or secure requests; those practices are covered by Cloudflare's policy linked below, not by the game's local progress store.

Children

BLOCK/08 does not ask players for a name, email address, age or other account information. There is no chat, user-generated content or form for submitting personal information through the game. Hosting requests are still handled as described below.

Hosting and third parties

The game loads no third-party scripts, ads, fonts, embeds or analytics. The release configuration targets Cloudflare Workers Static Assets for static hosting. Cloudflare processes ordinary request metadata needed to deliver and protect the site, which can include an IP address, traffic-routing data, system information and request records. BLOCK/08 does not copy that metadata into a gameplay profile. The anonymous gameplay statistics described above are handled by BLOCK/08's own hosting on Cloudflare, not by a third-party analytics provider. Cloudflare's own practices are described in its Privacy Policy. If BLOCK/08 later introduces advertising, accounts or another processor, this policy will be updated before that collection is enabled.
